The
Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship Committee of Greater Pennsylvania
will be accepting applications on Tuesdays during the hours of 1pm
to 3pm only; at the Lebanon Training Center, 1718 Heilmandale Rd.,
Lebanon, PA. 717-273-5277
APPLICATIONS
CAN BE COMPLETED IN PERSON OR AN APPLICATION CAN BE MAILED. CALL FOR
DETAILS. APPLICANTS WILL BE TOLD WHEN TO RETURN FOR TESTING.
APPLICANTS
MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
- Be at least 17 years old (persons who will graduate by June are eligible to apply).
- Be a high school graduate or hold a G.E.D. certificate.
- Be physically capable of performing the work of the trade.
- Have a valid drivers license and suitable transportation.
- Indicate interest, desire and willingness to learn.
- Be available for full time employment if accepted into the Program.
- A non-refundable processing fee of $25.00 payable by CHECK OR
MONEY ORDER is required when submitting application.
- Upon receiving an offer of apprenticeship, the applicant will
be required to pay the cost of a physical examination and cost of
a substance abuse test.
- This is a training opportunity; The Joint Apprenticeship Committee
or its Board of Trustees DOES NOT
AND CAN NOT guarantee full time employment. Employment, when available,
will be through the Greater
PA Regional Council of Carpenters as provided for in the Collective
Bargaining Agreements.
- The recruitment, selection and employment of apprentices during
their apprenticeship shall be without
