   Workshop Introduction - This workshop promotes awareness of infection control in health-care facilities and outlines protection methods and safe work practices for UBC members who are working in these types of facilities. The entire workshop focuses on renovations and additions to existing, occupied buildings. It does not discuss new construction.   CALL TO REGISTER.

--------OSHA 10/30 REPLACEMENT CARDS REVISION--------

For members needing an OSHA 10/30 replacement card the National Resource Center/CPWR is requiring a form be filled out and a check in the amount of $15.00 made payable to: National Resource Center.  Check should be mailed to the Training Center and we will complete the form and forward along with your check to the Resource Center.

GE Gas Turbine Qualification Program for Members

 The Carpenters International Training Center has the following openings in the Millwright GE Gas Turbine Member Training Class:

 February 9 to 12, 2012 (4 days) Thurs. to Sun.

February 13 to 16, 2012 (4 days) Mon. to Thurs.

March 5 to 9, 2012 (5 days) Mon. to Fri.

 

Please Note: Class size is limited; call the Lebanon Center as soon as       possible to reserve a place in this important millwright training.  Participation will be on a first come basis.

Members attending this workshop in Las Vegas must complete the following prerequisite courses:

G.E. Gas Turbine Familiarization (including Hytorc)

U.B.C. Rigging Qualification

Millwright 16-hour Safety Course (Previously called the Westinghouse 16 hour safety course)

Members will have to bring work clothes, gloves and leather boots to the workshop.  Hardhats, safety glasses, hearing protection and tools will be provided.

ALL MEMBERS MUST BE IN GOOD STANDING TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS TRAINING
